We have not tried a lapbook before.. It is certainly a good idea for me to try it with my 2 kids. My older child, now 4, loves to paint. The kids love the cartoons and i am glad that even i am learning somethings as well..a lot is covered like vowels, silent 'E', consonant, blending, etc...On top of that, i recently got the phonics rock and learn CD. Still have yet to use that on my kids though.
